Daisies - The Pure, the Simple, the Beauty

Ask a a four year old to draw you a flower and he or she will give you a daisy. Daisies resemble what a flower should look like. Nothing special. Simple yet elegant. Strong but vulnerable.

I think that's what makes daisies so popular. Some people tend to the more intricate look of an amaryllis, the personality of a rose or the volume of a hyacinth want - but most would be a simple daisy pick on one of these show offs.
I wonder why? I do not. I think we all its purity and simplicity. Call it innocence if you want. Remember the days when you make daisy chains? Can not get enough of that these days, can we.
